Opart — optic gallery in Rostov-on-Don. The concept is not just an optics salon,
but an art gallery where frames are presented as artworks.
Opart
The space is divided into exhibition halls, mixing frames with painting, photography and sculpture. Smooth colors and surfaces guide guests
through the exposition and help them orient themselves.
Opart is in a building over a hundred years old, so we preserved architectural fragments and materials wherever possible — even minor details were crucial. The interior plays with perception: clear mirrors,
blurred gradient surfaces, tinted glasses, and angled mirrors alter
the view of space. Besides the main gallery, Opart has sterile, minimalist optometry rooms and a workshop that visually connects to the central halls.
